FAQ
Yes, your system also generates electricity in winter. The yield at this time of year is of course lower than in the sunnier months of the year.
If you feel that your plug-in solar system is not producing enough power, there are a few things you should consider.1.the maximum output power of your system is determined by the inverter. It feeds the electricity generated by the solar modules into your home grid. You can check the current fed into the grid with our supplied current meters.2. our solar modules usually have a higher output than the inverters to ensure that you still receive enough electricity even in bad weather.3.if you are dissatisfied with the yield of your system, please refer to your SUNSHARE user manual to check the options for optimising the yield.4 Please also note that various factors such as (partial) shading (see picture), soiling and high outside temperatures, especially in midsummer, can influence the performance of your system. You will achieve the highest output with a south-facing orientation at midday in spring and late summer when the weather is clear and temperatures are below 22 degrees.5 Hopefully we have been able to help you. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. We are at your disposal!

Yes, technically speaking, this is not a problem if a new cable is laid for the solar system. Of course, you need an electrician for this. The electrician must also register the system, as an output of over 600 watts is a ‘normal’ solar system. Registration with the grid operator is somewhat more complicated and may only be carried out by a certified electrician.
Your balcony only needs to fulfil two requirements to use our solar modules. A suitable balcony railing and a socket - that's all you need.
No, planning permission is not required for private use on your own property. As a tenant, however, the landlord's consent is usually required. However, please bear in mind that our solar modules also serve as a privacy screen, the use of which nobody can prohibit. However, it is your responsibility to check the local laws and regulations for your building.
