Semi-solid state batteries are a special type of electric vehicle-grade lithium-ion battery where most of the liquid electrolyte is replaced with solid materials.
How does it benefit you?
1. Ultimate Safety: The semi-solid electrolyte used in Sunshare Glory significantly reduces leakage and fire risks. This gives you peace of mind when using your balcony power plant with energy storage on the balcony or at home.
2. Extended Lifespan: Solid electrolytes not only make the battery safer but also more durable. The Sunshare Glory storage unit achieves a lifespan of up to 7000 cycles – 30% longer than traditional LFP batteries. For you, this means a safe and reliable long-term investment with maximum efficiency.
It primarily uses solar energy. If solar power doesn't meet energy needs, the battery automatically kicks in. If that's still insufficient, the remaining energy is covered by the grid. If solar power production exceeds consumption, the excess is initially stored in the battery. Further surplus energy can be fed back into the grid – depending on the setup and in compliance with local regulations.
Summary of our product advantages:
1. Unique safety technologyWe are the only provider on the market to use next-generation, automotive-grade semi-solid LFP batteries. This technology guarantees safe operation of your system for a period of 20 years.
2. Maximum expandabilityCompared to similarly priced products, our system offers the most powerful dual MPPT with 2400W of PV input power. This allows you to easily add additional modules later.
3. Perfect compatibility for Ray/Lite usersThe Glory system comes with PV connection cables specifically designed for Ray modules. As a Ray/Lite customer, you don't need any adapters – the connection is completed in just two steps.
Yes, Sunshare Glory is compatible with most common third-party PV panels ranging from 400W to 550W. To connect, you will need a Slim-MC4 connection cable, which is sold separately. When selecting third-party panels, please ensure they use MC4 connectors, have an open-circuit voltage not exceeding 59V, and a short-circuit current not exceeding 30A.For an 800W–1000W system, we recommend installing two standard 400W–550W panels, with one connected to each MPPT input. You will need to purchase two Slim-MC4 adapter cables separately. For a larger 1600W–2000W system, we recommend installing four standard 400W–550W panels. You can connect two panels to each MPPT input using an MC4-Y parallel connector cable. You will need to purchase two Slim-MC4 adapter cables and two MC4-Y cables separately. You can purchase the Slim-MC4 adapter cables directly from our website: https://sunsharetek.com/collections/cables
The Sunshare smart meter is actually a home energy monitor, which is called a smart meter due to market conventions. It is not designed to replace the original household electricity meter. The smart plug can be remotely controlled individually via a mobile app to turn on/off and monitor the power consumption of specific appliances.By using the Sunshare smart plug or smart meter, you can monitor your household energy consumption and adjust the Glory charging and discharging strategy to avoid over-discharging or under-discharging, thereby preventing waste.
1. When your battery is not fully charged or when household load exceeds the hybrid inverter's output power, all generated electricity will be directly charged into the battery or consumed by household appliances.
2. When your battery is fully charged and there are insufficient electrical appliances at home to consume this power, excess solar energy will be fed into the grid.Regarding compensation for surplus power fed into the grid from the Sunshare system, compensation policies may vary by region. You should contact your local grid operator, whose contact details are listed on your electricity bill.
When the main grid is operating normally, the Glory system feeds power into your home grid. During a blackout, it automatically switches to emergency mode. In this mode, Glory does not supply power to the entire house, but only delivers electricity through its dedicated Flex Socket. You can connect important devices that require backup power directly to this socket to receive continuous electricity.Additionally, Glory can be used as an Emergency Power Supply (EPS), providing uninterrupted power regardless of the main grid's status.
Not necessarily. The system may prioritize using power from one unit or discharge multiple devices simultaneously. It employs an intelligent charging and discharging strategy based on the devices' current charge levels, the power consumption of the load, and your settings in the app. Therefore, the discharge capacity of individual devices may vary.
Yes, the Sunshare Glory system is designed to perform even in low-light conditions. It features two independent high-efficiency MPPTs (Maximum Power Point Trackers), which allow it to capture energy from the sun on rainy, cloudy, or misty days. While the energy output won't be as high as on a sunny day, the system will still generate power for your home. If the solar energy isn't sufficient to meet your home's total power needs, the system will seamlessly draw additional power from your battery to cover the gap. This intelligent design ensures you can continuously save energy and money, regardless of the weather.
